Over 280 faith leaders have signed on to a letter to Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio to express how deeply New York's people of faith are committed to the Campaign 4 NY/NY Housing so that the most vulnerable among us are treated with dignity.
Right now, all that is preventing the State from building 6,000 new units of supportive housing for the most vulnerable homeless people and families is a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Governor and the Leadership. In April, the state budget included funds for supportive housing, but added this new requirement. Join us in calling on our legislative leaders to get the job done. Tell them to SIGN THE MOU so we can build the supportive housing we need to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness for thousands of our neighbors.
